User Acquisition

With Apptokens, we have the ability to write rules on tokens about when they are eligible to be traded or used inside a service. Leveraging this powerful primitive, we developed a fully on-chain demo on testnet where you can link usage of the token to progress level of a user.

To fully understand what is happening in this demo:

  1. A user can configure a new game with its own spend-only Apptoken where you define the initial claim amount and the rewards which will be unlocked for each level in the battle pass up to 5 levels.
  2. Launch the game and click on the button to gain XP and level up. XP and Level of the user is stored onchain in the game's contract and is referenced to determine eligibility of the txn. With Apptokens, we will have the ability to link txn rules and states to any metic possible.
  3. You can browse the store and rewards page to see eligible rewards based on the level. New items only unlock after the level has been reached.
